Beef Tacos

Classic beef tacos made with spiced minced beef, crisp shells or soft tortillas, and fresh toppings. Simple, fast, and endlessly customisable.



 

Ingredients

For the Beef Filling

  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato purรฉe
  • 100ml beef or chicken stock
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

To Assemble

  • Taco shells or small tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Grated cheese
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Sour cream or yogurt
  • Fresh coriander
  • Lime wedges

Cook the Beef

    Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

    Add the onion and cook until soft.

    Stir in the garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, and chilli powder.

Brown & Simmer

    Season to taste and simmer for 8โ€“10 minutes until thick and saucy.

Assemble the Tacos
