Ingredients
For the Burgers
- 500g beef mince (15โ20% fat)
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic granules
For the Chips
- 1kg potatoes (Maris Piper or King Edward)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
To Serve (Optional)
- Burger buns
- Cheese slices
- Lettuce, tomato, red onion
- Ketchup, mayo, or burger sauce

Prepare the Chips

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220ยฐC (200ยฐC fan).

Peel (optional) and cut the potatoes into thick chips.

Rinse under cold water, then pat completely dry.

Toss with olive oil, salt, and paprika if using.

Spread evenly on a baking tray and bake for 30โ35 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
