Beef Burritos
Hearty beef burritos packed with spiced minced beef, fluffy rice, and classic Tex-Mex flavours, wrapped in soft tortillas and perfect for a filling, hands-on meal.
Ingredients
For the Beef Filling
- 500g beef mince
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 400g chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato purรฉe
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Rice
- 200g long-grain rice
- 400ml chicken or beef stock
- Salt, to taste
To Assemble
- 8 large flour tortillas
- 150g grated cheddar or Mexican-style cheese
- Sour cream or yogurt
- Fresh coriander
- Salsa or hot sauce

Cook the Beef

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until soft.

Prepare the Rice

Assemble the Burritos
