Main Ingredients

  • 600g chicken breast or thighs, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 100g broccoli florets
  • 100g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger

For the Sauce

  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp water

To Serve

  • Steamed rice or egg fried rice
  • Spring onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Cook the Chicken

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat.

    Add the chicken and stir-fry for 4โ€“5 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden.

    Remove and set aside.

Build the Flavour
