  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter (plus extra for toasting)
  • 2 slices cheese (American or cheddar)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

To Finish

  • Ketchup
  • Honey or sugar syrup
  • Fresh chives or parsley, finely chopped
